NMSU ranks among 2024 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs


New Mexico State University’s online campus, NMSU Global, has been recognized this year in the U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings.  
 
NMSU Global earned multiple spots on the 2024 list of online programs, including an overall ranking of 150 out of 358 universities.  
 
The online programs that earned rankings include NMSU’s master’s in criminal justice (tied for 43), MBA (tied for 124), bachelor’s programs overall (tied for 150), bachelor’s programs for veterans (tied for 81), bachelor’s degrees in business (tied 44), master’s degrees in education (tied 227), master’s degrees in computer information technology (ranging from 72 to 93), and master’s degrees in engineering (ranging from 86 to 11).  
 
This is the 11th year U.S. News & World Report has collected data from distance education master’s and bachelor’s degree completion programs, and it has expanded the range and depth of its surveys. Best Online Programs rankings are determined by metrics that include services offered remotely, available technologies, and course delivery best practices.
