Virtual Career Fair (Key Date: June 7, 2022)

NAVSEA Warfare Centers will host a virtual career fair on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time.  Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with recruiters online for openings available across the nation.  This event is free to attend!  STEM career opportunities include (but are not limited to):

Internship Opportunity (Key Date: May 27, 2022)

The DoN HBCU/MI - NAVSUP Internship is a virtual, six-week research experience for HBCU/MI undergraduate and graduate students interested in data science, data analytics, logistics/quality engineering, and logistics information management systems.  The program will run from June 10 to July 27, 2022 and students must complete the full six weeks to receive the stipend. 

Participants will spend the summer immersed in a project focused on naval data science and logistics engineering under the guidance of a mentor. Interns will gain an edge in the job market, expand knowledge of supply chain management and optimization in a real-world context, and increase awareness of civilian opportunities within NAVSUP.

To be eligible for the internship, students must be U.S. citizens, currently enrolled in an accredited four-year HBCU/MI with a minimum grade point average of 3.0, majoring in either of the following:

  • Computer Information Systems
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Mathematics

In addition, students must have a valid driver's license and will be required to complete a background check prior to the start of the internship.
