Position: Funded Research Opportunity for MS Students and Graduating Seniors

Term: Fall 2021

The Renewable Energy and Thermal Systems (REThermS) Laboratory is seeking one graduate (MS thesis) research assistant to work on a federally funded project at the intersection of energy and water. Energy-water nexus is an area of national importance and the experience of working on this project could be a great addition to the resume. Funding is available for 10 – 20 hours per week. Depending on the performance, the funding will be provided for subsequent semesters.

Minimum Qualifications
• Demonstrated Arduino coding skills,
• Skilled in coding with Matlab.
• Excellent hands-on skills.
• Ability to conduct literature search, demonstrated writing ability.
• Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
• GPA of 3.6 or above, (if highly skilled in Arduino, lower GPA will also be considered)
