NMSU undergraduate research symposium goes online, celebrates student achievement

For the first time in its 25-year history, the New Mexico State University Undergraduate Research and Creative Arts Symposium has gone virtual.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year?s symposium, commonly known on campus as URCAS, adopted an online-only format. URCAS is the longest-running student symposium at NMSU, and features undergraduate honors students presenting their research projects. URCAS includes students from every academic college.

The 2020 URCAS began May 7 and will available for viewing at https://honors.nmsu.edu/urcas/ through Friday, May 15. So far, nearly

700 people have visited the URCAS website to read and watch student presentations.
