Dr. Abdelkefi won the NMSU URC Early Career Award

Dr. Abdelkefi has been selected as a recipient of the Early Career Award for the Nineteenth Annual NMSU’s University Research Council (URC) Award for Exceptional Achievements in Creative Scholarly Activity. Congratulations, Dr. Abdelkefi!

Dr. Abdelkefi joined MAE in Fall 2014 after completing his doctoral studies and a post-doctoral stint at Virginia Tech. He has published more than 140 journal papers (>4150 citations with a h-index of 36) and supervised/supervising more than 35 graduate students (thesis). His research interests are in Nonlinear Dynamics, Biomemitics/drones/robotics, Energy Harvesting, MEMS & NEMS, Fluid-Structure Interaction, and Vibration and Control.
