College of Engineering Highest Honors goes to Dominick Cordova

MAE Doctoral Student Daniel Wentzel is the Alumni Association Outstanding Graduating Graduate Student

The doctoral level recipient for the Alumni Association Outstanding Graduating Graduate Student is MAE’s Daniel Wentzel. Congratulations, Dr. Wentzel! At NMSU, Daniel worked in the area of micromechanics of materials including fibers and composites under the supervision of Dr. Igor Sevostianov. He is currently a Flight Systems Test Engineer at NASA.

MAE student Samantha Ceballes will receive NSF Graduate research Fellowship

MAE Ph.D. student, Samantha Ceballes, has received the 2018 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program award. Well done, Samantha! She was the Highest Honors Graduate for the College of Engineering at the fall commencement ceremony, completing her study with a 4.0 GPA. Dr. Abdelkefi is her research adviser.
